An important development was the installation in May 1984 of a Littel coil sheeting line at Tinplate Distributors, Meadowbank using the “futuristic” Littell machine equipment.
It was an awesome sight to see the massive eight to ten tonne coils of tinplate fed in and cut into sheets by this remarkable machine, ready for coating and decoration.
